Has anyone replaced the wiring to the bimini light? I'm interested in how to get at the wiring next to the console, where it goes down into the frame, how is that removed?
Sorry I don't have pictures, I will, but on my 22SSBXP, the pop up cushion (the big one in back) has loosened from the brackets below. It seems the plywood at the cushion bottom has become warped enough for the screws and the cheap mounts to come loose. I know, warranty, but that's months away...
If you ski tow bar, try a rod holder, I bought Amarine ones from Amazon, and they are about 1.5" diameter. I use 1" PVC as my flagpole with some eye bolts and nuts, after drilling the PVC. Works great and I keep an allen key on board to tighten occasionally.
Dude I am also looking for part numbers or codes for Bennington nodes, zinc nodes. One on rear of each toon and one in transom well. Can you share any details? Thanks,
They did jack it up to adjust the foam blocks...did a super job. All reports and research are that I need a new topcoat every year, about $400 or so...thank God I'm a billionaire LOL
I know on my 22SSBXP there are three zincs, and I want to replace them....one on there rear of each toon, and one in the transom well.
Other than calling my dealer, which is 400 miles away, I'd prefer to buy online and do myself. Does anyone have any detail on the code numbers so I can order...
Here it is! Thanks to Rod and his team at ATW Marine in Tarpon Springs, FL, for the AWESOME bottom job! The before photos are after about five months in a wet slip, and that's with monthly cleaning! One photo shows a keel that came loose, Bennington was very cool about warrantying the welding...
Spoke to a guy that I trust, and who I feel is a professional when it comes to wraps. Told me he would be happy to wrap the upper half of my toons, but I’m looking at about $3000 and he did not think it would last more than a year before I saw a lot of bubbling. I’m already in for about 2000...
Having the tubes on my 2017 22SSBXP bottom painted, and as you likely know, that paint is only for water line and below. My boat is black, and the bottom paint is also black, which leaves me silver colored tube in between bottom and panels. I'd like the entire tube to be black, what a cool...
Tired of crappy telescopic poles that are $20 or so apiece...they last only so long.....
So, 3 pieces of 1" PVC, 5 ft each then measured to fit each spot, three tennis balls (one for each pole) and for $11 I have three poles that will never collapse.
Number each pole if you like as they are...
