Can anyone confirm if the info from this thread regarding drilling the top rail for EZFender is applicable to the RCW?
Also I see mention of concerns EZFender might rub on the cover?
Thanks for any help!!
Sorry for the delay. The first prop was a 18P Mirage Prop and it was replaced with a 16p Yamaha SSII that brought the RPM's up from about 5200 to 5800rpms. I'm very happy with the power and rpm range with the 16p. Also to note, I had a vibration from about 1800-2200rpms with the 18p Mercury that...
I'm as patient as anybody but given that we ordered the boat from Bennington as opposed to buying a boat from dealer inventory and Bennington accepted the order but didn't deliver and here we are a year later with multiple attempts to communicate a resolution with no follow through on Bennington...
I spoke to Yamaha 6-15-2016 who in turn called and spoke to the dealer same day. Dealer asked for two props (he had two on backorder) and to date has received none and had no additional contact with Yamaha that I'm aware of.
Can someone enlighten an fng? Am I correct that this motor needs to...

I just wanted to stop by quickly and thank everyone who has taken their time to opine here on this forum. The depth of experience and willingness to share here is an invaluable asset for us fng's!
Thanks again!

Well, boat order has been placed! We went with the 250hp 25'' SHO after all. Hope to be underway sometime mid June ... with any luck. Thanks again to everyone who has taken the time to opine here in this forum. This place has been a great resource, especially for an fng, and I will continue to...
Thanks for the clarity on the motor color and sport tower!! Too many miles on my eyes I guess ...lol ... appeared black to me on the Yamaha website. There is about a $1500 upgrade for the Blue 25'' Shaft 4.2L SHO 250HP compared to the grey colored 3.3L F250. Aside from appearance are there any...
Wow, what a great forum. Thanks for all the replies! I'm still torn on 2 fronts. I think I may go with the curved bimini at this point but sill on the fence about the motor and Sharkshide. Looking at the pics posted in the other thread of the Sharkshide at one year creates more questions than...
