I do appreciate the feedback. I was in touch with Bennington and there can be some wires in the top rail leading to the console. Guess we just have to drill slow and easy. EZfenders look like the only option for a QX. The rail on the QX is 1 1/2 inches vs standard 1 1/4 quarter on aluminum. Thanks
I see you are using the ezfender that screws into the top rail. I have a 25QX and was wondering if the are any wires, etc running within the top rail? Great looking boat by the way. Thanks
Great information. What about fenders on the QX models? Of course it is fiberglass and does not have rails to hook on to. Suggestions please. Thank you.
Yianni, what a great build. Just rec'd our QX. Pretty similar as far as options except I went with a 350 HP Verado. Let us all know the pitch prop they install please. Enjoy, how could you not.
If I may chime in here, I know from years of experience that a boat on a lift is an extension of the dock and will be used like one. At least our is. With that being said, it is not uncommon for the boat to have additional weight (people) on it while on the lift. If it is a covered hoist, it is...
Just disconnect the batteries next time you leave. When you come back after a few days, reconnect them and see if you have an issue. If you do, you need new batteries. If you don't, odds are something is draining them. That's what I would do.
