Strange that the side trim is stained and not the toon. There is toon discolouration but no browning.
If the same toon aluminium was used on the trim then there may not be a problem.
1.5 kg Nylon Cooper anchor for the stern and Lone star GX 1electric anchor for the bow. Both work a treat on sand or mud sea floors. Have both out when anchoring.
No chain was fitted to the nylon anchor, still sits flat and digs in. Also prevents any boat scratching when retrieving and storing.
I also think that closing threads like this is disappointing.
What was important to me before I purchased my Bennington was the 10 year warranty and the positive forum comments on Bennington backing their product.
I am confident my dealer will take care of any warranty issues.
In the end what was happening was very simple to see.
The water was running down the back of the seat into the side channel and because my boat is very much leaning towards the stern the water accumulated at the lowest end and simply overflowed into the cavity. There are no external drain...
