We have a 18' mat and we have a lake place so we just carry it down and put it n the boat, I had a 22 sxsrx that had a tow bar, i got a big Velcro strap from amazon and strapped it to the tow bar and it worked great and out of the way!

My Yamaha 90 had around 75 hours on it with the exact same problem and changed fuel separator, did octane boost, changed gs station and ended up changing plugs and that solved it, Defiantly put plugs in it and never hurts to have a spare set around also
