Fort Loudon Lake at Concord Marina. We do have a 40' x 20' slip though which is overkill for our boat but I like extra protection of having that much roof overhead. The width also allowed us to install a jet ski port.
I somehow to seem to be the winner, (or loser ) for who pays the most.
Yes, I agree. I use the water for rinsing the boat. For some reason I was thinking the water reference was regarding pump outs for boats with heads.
We pay $453 per month all year round. That hurts in the winter months but we were able to go out 3 days last week when it was in the low 70's. There are literally no available slips in the Knoxville, TN area. Over 100 people on the waiting list. Our slip is 40' x 20' and covered. Yep, very much...
We have plenty of Marina's where I live and all of them have very long waiting lists. Our marina has 420 slips and there is a waiting list of over 100 people. Some people leave and new people come in but the wait list continues to remain over 100, (I know because I have a friend who is on the...
We just got our 2021 21sxsb/SPS Benny a few weeks ago. It's kept in a slip at a marina. One of the first things I noticed was how much higher the front was sitting compared to our last pontoon (sun chaser). The very front is the exact height as the dock where as my last boat was about 5" lower...
Congrats on both the new boat and also living on a 500 acre private lake. We recently took delivery of our 2021 21SXSB after upgrading from a SunChaser. Only took it out once since it was delivered to our marina when it was 28 degrees. Freezing but fun test drive. I’m sure you are looking...
I installed the wireless Vessel View plugin on the Sunchaser boat we just traded in for the Bennington. There weren't any gauges except a tachometer. I added a ram mount to the helm and used an iPad Air I had laying around. I was able to see speed, tach, oil pressure, hours, etc. plus any fault...
Thanks BigKahuna! We boat in Knoxville, TN on Fort Loudon Lake, which is part of the TN river. We typically only go a couple of miles from the marina but I have a feeling that will change with this new boat.
Thanks Vikingstaff! The difference is night and day. The guy who delivered it drove first to explain a few things. I couldn't see the screen from where I was sitting at the time but he said we were going 38 mph. The water was calm since there wasn't any boat traffic but we had 4 people on board...
Thanks Michiman. So far the only details I know are what is in my signature. We got the boat delivered, test drove it and then covered it up a few days later. The only other things I know so far is that it has 2 batteries, LED speakers, (but they only light blue), hydraulic steering, (not power...
Hello Everyone. New, (to me) Benny owner. We just got a 2021 SXSB with 24 hours on it. It was delivered to our marina a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday morning when it was 28 degrees. Wasn't exactly ideal conditions for a test ride but I was smiling the entire time even though I thought my...
