I have the box subwoofer stored under the helm. I thought the helm door would vibrate but it fits tight when closed and I have no problem. The person sitting in front of the helm definitely feels the vibration. Teenagers fight for that seat.

Originally had the Kicker and speakers but could not hear well outside of the boat. Added the amp and sub and it works great now!

I just bought my first lilypad (Sam’s Club, $250.00) and I had the same concerns. A friend of ours had theirs for one summer and it started smelling of mildew. I plan to dry mine off as best as I can before rolling it up at the end of the day and occasionally clean with a mildew remover.

My 22ssbxp was just delivered and I’ve been out a couple of times. I have the Yamaha 150hp also and it runs great. I’m surprised how quiet the motor is! We love the swing back seating. I’m the popular family member now, everyone wants to hang out with us!!

I recently upgraded my sound system and had the dealer add a second battery and a switch. Paid $330 in parts plus labor for the battery setup.
