    Lake St. Clair

It does get very choppy, but mostly on weekend afternoons when all the big cruisers are out.  A normal weekend is probably 1-2 foot chop, with random 3 footers that you have to really watch out for.  We’ve been in some very rough water out there and the boat has always impressed me, it can get...

    Port gate seat?

I have the bow seat for a 2011 2275 RCW and mine fits just fine at the port gate, I never thought it was too large by any means. The think only thing that doesn’t sit flush is the seat back of the bow seat is slightly shorter than then the port side seating, but it still looks fine.

    Grill

I also have the Magma Catalina Grill with the pedestal mount and couldn’t be happier with it. It gets hot quick, lots of surface area, plus the Infra-red heating is great (no flare ups). Functionality aside it looks great too, I get as many compliments on the grill as I do on the boat. One...

Neep Prop Help, 2275 RCW, 115hp Merc

I finally made it up north over the weekend and found out the motor is already mounted all of the way down (top hole). I guess it’s back to messing with the prop.

Neep Prop Help, 2275 RCW, 115hp Merc

In my case the dealer was the one that installed the motor, not sure if that’s how it always works. I assume they set it up with the bottom of the transom in line with the bottom of the cavitation plate, but I have not verified this yet. I’m fine if my setup is only capable of 23-24mph, I just...

Neep Prop Help, 2275 RCW, 115hp Merc

The marinia I purchased it from is not very close, although there is a local one right by me I could try if the price was right. This sounds like something I could handle on my own, but I'll do some more research on it first.

Neep Prop Help, 2275 RCW, 115hp Merc

Thank you for the response, I think dropping the motor one hole is a good place to start too. Unfortunately, my boat is two hours away and only see her on the weekends, but assuming there is room to drop it one hole is that easy to do? I think I would need to be able to lift the whole 400lbs...

Neep Prop Help, 2275 RCW, 115hp Merc

I have 2011 2275 RCW with 115hp 4-stroke Mercury. I’m past the break-in phase and now am trying to get some better performance out of this setup. I’ve tried 2 different aluminum props and now I’m not sure where to go from here, both were tested under the same conditions (2 people, full tank of...
