We don’t have blackout package and ours sits in the water at the dock - not on a lift. Have had NO issues with the Taylor made clips moving, sliding or scratch marks on the rails.

Of course, you did trade it for year round boating. We do like the winter too and the seasons. I’m not a Florida guy at all.
