My new Evinrude Etec G2 150 HO on my new 19 22SSBXP says "no break in required". Wonder if they break in at the factory? Seems odd. I know it's a 2 stroke, but seems odd. I guess on my new sleds back in the day, i never really broke them in either.
I bought these on Amazon. My last tritoon had similar ones that were non RGB (red only). They stuck well for 4 seasons. I had to buy a cheap power supply dimmer switch. That's it. The RGB ones were a little bit more to install. I used an unused accessory switch on the dash for power, ran...
Wow! Thanks McZiggy! Ordered a new Solas 13.75x13 aluminum. Thicker blades, rubber hub, noticebly, bigger blades, and best of all it performs like it should! It grabs and goes. I'm at 25 in a few seconds and top speed on GPS my first night out was 31mph with 2 adults, full cooler, 2 kids...

I was able to put over 10 hours on the boat this week. had a blast. Prop is not the right one for sure however. Just got off...
I was able to put over 10 hours on the boat this week. had a blast. Prop is not the right one for sure however. Just got off the phone with the dealer and he said he would give me full value back on the crappy aluminum prop (145) towards a Yamaha stainless that retails for $518..... Doesn't...
I can still negotiate a bit on prop, but don't want to make a bad choice. I searched the forums for my answers (site:club.benningtonmarine.com) to no avail. I have the express tube option with strakes on it only. I have the Yamaha '15 115hp. I have always run stainless for performance on...
