they don't cause water to spray in to the boat it sprays a lot past the motor. the express pak. works better in rough water it up higher at slow speeds and it plans quicker with more people in the boat.I think it works great. the strakes are open

they are on all three tubes two on each tube. wave shield rough water pak.

I got my 24 sfx a week ago and love it express pk strakes all 3 yubes. The 150 mercury with a 15.1/8 x 14 prop 40 mph i changed the prop to 15x15 i get 43 mph both props work great mercury Enertia great prop. Thats with four adults on board. Its earther more power or more speed. walleyeman

I just bought a 24 sfx express pak strakes on all three tubs 150 fourstroke mercury if you bought anything less then that you will be disapointed with a 150 yoi will get 40 mph with a115 you will get 33 to 34 mph mine with a 150 mercury fourstorke i get 40 mph with 4 adults you will love...

Its x mas towmorrow i pick up our 24 sfx i went down and looked at it to day it looks great. i can start putting all my stuff on it when i get it home. I will let you know how it is in the water on thursday. ROB & DARLA
