I bought a new antenna from Amazon and have it mounted under my helm. The wire antenna that came with the boat was not coiled up but no matter where I put it the reception sucked. Now with the new antenna I get about 80% of the stations in my area, not perfect but a ton better...
I always turn my motor to get the steering cable inside the housing to stop any dust from landing on the exposed shaft. Lower unit is always out to keep the water stains from attaching.
I got the Ultra Legs on my 2018 RFSB twin tube and I really like them. They work great on water 4 feet or less, you can deploy front, rear or both and adjust to level as needed. I think I read they add about 300-350 pounds to your boat. I bought the boat with them installed so I cannot tell...
Ok I'm on the "band" wagon and ordered my 12" powered sub and it will arrive tomorrow. Where did you get the 8 gauge power wire without spending an arm and a leg?
You can get silver ones..https://www.amazon.com/Taylor-Made-Products-31030-Pontoon/dp/B00OJ50F3O/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1529526627&sr=8-4&keywords=taylor%2Bpontoon%2Bfender&th=1
My sales guy was Jeff S and congrats on your boat as well. We did the R series FastBack 2 toon with a 115. We will be sitting in boat in the driveway tomorrow night having a cocktail with the radio on.....
I pick mine up tomorrow at the same dealer. The dealer already had a big indoor showroom and then the Walmart next door decided to move and the dealer bought the building with the huge parking lot! I'm fairly sure the indoor hook up photo is in the old Walmart.
The brick converts 110VAC to 12VDC. LEDs need DC voltage and the correct polarity to light. Cut wires just out of ac/dc converter brick and find the positive wire.
As cwag911 pointed out, you do away with the 120AC input and wire it with a fuse to 12Vdc.
ETA, I tried to add the link that shows the questions asked on Amazon. You will have to go there yourself and search "12v" or "12 volt" and read up.
This should get you close. I'm guessing the power supply converts down to 12Vdc but not confirmed. A lot of answered questions under the reviews so maybe take a look there...
