The elliptical tubes on our 22' boat are great. They add extra flotation and the boat is very stable running and when stopped. For fishing we love it. Ours has the live well in the front and the fishing station in the rear with live well. We have the APG option. addition port gate. It's nice but not necessary. Make sure you get the extended decks. The elliptical should be slightly less expensive. Get the performance package toons. You need the strakes and wave shield. Get the 150 hp engine. Don'r listen to the dealer that 115 is enough. We were able to upgrade for 1K and $700 of that was because of the SS prop. If you will not be towing grandkids on water toys, you will love the ellipticals. At 65 and if you plan on boating for years, consider get the power assisted steering. We don't have it and the steering effort is ok. Power steering is better but an expensive option. Are you anywhere close to SW Ohio?
