envirofill

I got this little funnel with my brand new SX20 w/ Merc 90hp.  About eight inches long, neck about 3/4" diameter and a very narrow basin.  It's labeled Envirofill manual fill aid.  Anybody know what this is all about.  Service dept didn't have a clue.  Nothing in the owner's manual, but not much...
