I have a 2013 20 sl with 25" pontoons, and a 90 hp Mercury 4 stroke. I have the factory 13, 3 blade prop that came from the dealer. I have no problem out of the hole, but when it hits about 4200 rpm, the speed does not change up to about 5300, which is where it tops out. Also what is the actual red line for this motor? Everything says 5000-6000?
20 sl correct prop?

I would try an 11p prop and it should top at 6000 rpms.

I've got the 20SLX, with the F90 Yamaha 4 stroke. I have a 15P 3 alum. blade and a 13P 4 blade SS. I get around 5400 RPM out of the 15P and about 26 MPH, and around 6000 RPM and around 27 MPH with the 4 blade SS. The 3 blade is much smoother as the 4 blade vibrates pretty bad at a no wake speed, but with a little bit more throttle, it smooths out. Both offer a good hole shot however, the 4 blade is a little quicker to plane.
I've got the aluminum back on it for now because I love that smooth cruise.
