I have a 2012 2275 QCW with 2000+ hrs
It has the Original Mercury Bravo 3 Outdrive with Duel Props. Yesterday while under idle something let go. The Outdrive when into a Neutral, I lost forward & reverse. It made a slightly higher pitch noise and all attempts at raising and lowering the drive made no diff. I’m looking for some Ideas on what May have let go. I’m almost positive it has nothing to do with a cable. Cause a broken cable would not cause a sound diff. And all forward and reverse on the throttle feels normal.
