Most premium pontoon boats made in this century will have 52” between tubes. This distance represents a 102” wide boat with 25” diameter tubes. Four decades ago max vehicle width restrictions increased to 102” from 96”. Twenty years later most (but not all) pontoon manufacturers had increased boat widths to 102” from 96”. At that time tube diameter for most premium boats had increased to 25”. The scissor trailer manufacturers have had to accommodate a 96” boat with 25” tubes (46” distance). The max width of a trailer will often times be the width between the tires not the frame. Measure both locations.
I bought the trailer and the pontoon and trailered it about 200 miles back to Ely, MN. All fit well. I traveled no more than 55 and was extra careful on the corners. Love the pontoon.

Did you ever consider a Bunk Trailer ? Pontoon rides on the trailer instead of hanging on the trailer.
