NEW DECK PLAN: I just purchased a SSLX24 and she has an extended deck on the back. I like to fish salmon and lake trout and am trying to figure out the best place to set up a down rigger. I am thinking of putting it behind the captains chair on the rail system and running her off the side of the boat. I do not have a base, or stand. The down rigger is a small lake size with only a 24 arm. Any thoughts. Any brands, rod holders too. Thanks
