ESP with lifting strakes

I see they offer additional sealed lifting strakes for the Esp package has anyone added this. I think the ESP is great anyways but will this make it better. I have a 250 sho ordered along with the esp. Any help

I was told by the dealer it is the same lifting strake that comes with the ESP.You can order the sealed to keep water from getting trapped behind it. He told me it was for salt water boats and no real benefit in fresh water boats. Thats all I know about them. I didn't order them on my boat.

The sealed lifting strikes are for saltwater use. They replace the std non sealed versions.

The sealed strakes are for saltwater so things don't get inside the strake from the back openings

My dealer ordered them for my boat for some reason even though I'm on fresh water. Don't know why????

I ordered them on mine for the resale. Now my boat is marketable with saltwater applications too.
