Garmin Striker 4 losing waypoints

Has anyone had issues with their Garmin unit suddenly losing all its waypoints, tracks and screen settings? It has happened to me on 4 separate occasions over the last 3 months, no warning, lost over 200 waypoints and no backup. Like the device went through a hard wipe, but not at my command. Seems to occur at start up. The device was installed by Bennington and the boat is just 2 years old. Going to contact dealer, but any other thoughts?

I was able to contact Garmin, great customer service, they sent out a replacement Striker 4 to fix the issue.
