Gauges went poof ....

was all set to sell my boat and was cranking it on a starter battery to show buyer it would run, and both the tach and tilt gauges went nuts and then stopped working. Have 12v at each and the tilt sensor signals the gauge but the gauge doesn’t move. The tach as 12 v but doesn’t move. Have the IP out and boat is covered. Trying to find gauges for a 2002 207L. Markings are all gone but I suspect they are Faria.

That sucks. Never a good time for that to happen let alone when a perspective buyer is present.

Damn! Crappy timing. What was the prospective buyers reaction? Check out greatlakesskipper.com. This is where I found gauges for my boat a couple years ago......
