A couple of questions about the windscreen. I know there is an option for a smoked windscreen but does the standard windscreen have any tint or is it clear? Also there is an option for a, Mooring cover 2 piece windscreen add on. Any thoughts on the pros or cons over the one piece cover?

Any help would be appreciated as I haven't been able to find any info on this.

Thanks - 2372 QCWW

No luck with the answer so far, huh? Honestly, I question how much good the windscreen actually is given that it appears to be very low in the promotional material that I've seen.

On my V-boat, the 2 piece would allow the bow to remain covered and open the cockpit.  Might be useful if there is just 2 of you and you don't want to uncover the whole boat for an evening cruise.

My dealer said that they don't sell many dual windscreen boats at all.

Here are a couple boats from their stock.  Both look to be tinted, although "tint" is not listed on the specs.  I would assume if tint is an option, clear would be the standard.

Thanks guys for the replies. Obviously it is not a real popular option. Anybody have a customer service number for Bennington?

I had pads a week or so ago and was building an rsb and noticed that they do offer a few cover options in the build a boat. As for the tint I would assume it has some tint as standard glass and the dark tint being very tough to see thru. Your dealer should be able to do the leg work for those questions if he wants to sell a boat! Good Luck!

A dealer is where you start.

I have a tinted windscreen on my 2572 qcw and love the added wind protection from buffeting at full throttle. Never though 50mph was fast until I was on the water. It is higher than you think. I can snap some pics if that helps.

Is your windscreen the "smoked windscreen" or the "standard windscreen"? Trying to find out if the standard is tinted, just not as much. Thanks

Mine is smoked and I was told the regular one is clear but I have never seen one of those so take it with a grain of salt.
