My dad wanted to see Indian River again. He and my mother spent their honeymoon at the motel right there where the Sturgeon River crosses the road.

We bummed around around a couple hours. We were quite surprised how seedy the Pinehurst Inn has become. We also explored the "island" a bit.

You sure live in pretty country.

We stopped at the Pinehurst last summer ,did not stay .

I know the motel.The restaurant on the other side of the river  ,Wilson's  Rivers Edge ,has the Best Club sandwich . 

The leaves are just starting to change this past week .

Funny thing, we were down state  for a wedding Friday & Saturday .

We like everything up here ,Except the short summers and long winters

We had lunch at Wilson's. I did not know abut the club sandwich. I'll remember for next time. We really liked that little Green Township park right on the river. It made me wish I was once again 12 and had a 13' Whaler at my disposal. I would have had a ball!!!
