well, nothing worked but thanks for the suggestions.
Next question is about fm reception on my basic kicker. In the helm storage compartment there is thin white wire in a bow secured by a twist tie. It looks like antenna wire we used in the old days with home stereo. Run it up the wall, tape it and the reception is a lot better. If this is indeed antenna, what do I do with it? Also underneath there is a black coaxial type cable with a brass looking female end. Anyone know what tha is?
The good news is it has been a beautiful day on Lake Monroe in Bloomington, In. My new 21slx, 90hp Merc really gets up and goes. If I had gone to the 115hp this pontoon would probably do wheelies. Thanks for helping this pontoon newbie and at some point I hope I can also give some good advice.
