Kmc20 replaced by kmc 100 under warrenty

My kmc 20 crapped out and dealer ordered kmc100 to replace. When I got it home the amp mounted under the steering console was gone. Shoud the amp have been removed? Does the kmc100 not need an amp? Seems like they should have used the rca output from the kmc 100 to the rca input of the old kmc 20 amp. Am I wrong?

Well I would question why they took your amp? At the very least they should have asked. I’d want it back. Maybe use it elsewhere (unless it’s specific to the KMC).

Bennington may on occasion request warranty replaced items returned?

I would ask to keep it if Bennington does not call for it's return.
