New member and just ordered a SS22 with SPS 150 Yamaha and salt water package. Will be converting a lift to hold the new pontoon boat. The dock is located where there is a heavy tidal current and afternoon cross winds. Would some kind of side bar guides be helpful when bringing the boat in under these conditions? If so, recommendations?The boat is then lifted out of the water for storage. Any other tips or suggestions for landing under these conditions as I have never owned a pontoon boat only traditional V hull boats.
