Need Ordering advice

Hello,

I'm ordering a new 21slx next week and have a question for the experts / current owners.

How big a difference would there be between these three set-ups?

1. Mercury 150 Four Stroke , 25" transom and Express Tube ?

2. New Mercury 115 with 20" and Express Tube ?

3. Etec 115 and 20" with Express Tube? Last on list as I think I want a four stroke for quiet and smell.

Normally 4-6 people on the boat max. 95% cruising at 15 mph. but occasionally ski/tube.

The short answer is if you ski once in awhile get the 150. HERE is a recent long thread discussing this very topic.

Hands down get the 150.  You will be glad you did when towing people or having a bunch of people on board.  You will run out of HP on that 115 real quick in those situations.

I think the express tube is a make believe 3 log boat. Go for the SPS and a 150. My $.02
