Placement of Transducer on pontoon

We just got out new 22 SFI with a installed fish finder. The transducer was placed on the rear left pontoon which creats a rooster tail that sometimes covers my engine. Does anyone else seem to notice this and have a problem with this rooster tail .

Hi bj, our engineering team thinks your transducer may be too far in the water. The only part of the trandsucer that should touch the water is the bottom face, with the back edge slightly lower than the front. Hope this helps, TB
