Installed a skeg protector this morning. This year, good friends of ours (we’ve rented lake cabins together for the last decade) bought a year round lake home and moved there in January. We have our boat at their house on a bay with a very shallow channel to the main lake where the skeg has hit bottom several times, even though I was into the tilt. No real damage yet but, rather than take the chance, I installed the protector.
