The metal knob ,is for your RGB Led lights.

In addition to above, it allows you to have the lights auto-rotate color and speed of color rotation. It’s multi-purpose. There are YouTube videos of it out there where people talk you through how it works.

This video illustrates how it works. They all work the same way across the Bennington lineup, so don’t let helm or model throw you off. This is how yours works too.
