I polished and Sharkhided the toons myself.

Mine will come with shark hide I'm thinking of polishing them but it looks like a lot of work. After they are polished how long will it last between polishing

About two years and then do a light touch up. Once they are polished, future polishing is very quick and easy.

Can you put shark hide on after polishing and if so will it dull it up?

After polishing, the only way that I know of to preserve the shine is to Sharkhide it. Yes, Sharkhide will dull the bare polished aluminum finish just a bit.
