Yep...not inexpensive. I have actually made a few covers for my boats before. Not sure I will ever do that again though. My boat cover making days are over.

Out of curiosity, what are they asking for them? You can't go wrong with Sunbrella. It's a little more bulky but will likely last longer.

Absolutely! My last pontoon outboard was a Mercury 90HP which had a Yamaha engine. I had the Yamaha adapter for it. Whether they also work on late model Yamahas might be a different story. EDIT: Looks like they don't.

Fortunately, my boat sits in a slip all summer so having the switch o n the outside would have no benefit. What I did consider was one of the BlueSea remote switches so I would have a switch at the helm to turn on/off the switch...

Well...your post inspired me. I didn't need a fuse panel but I wanted the on/off switch, the acr and the circuit breaker for the house loads on one panel. I 3D printed one.
