Tach and Hour meter

Hello i just bought a 2011 2275 RCW and the hour meter reads error what can cause this and how can i fix it? i have looked at all the wires i can see under console and don't see anything wrong. what kind of gauge can i replace it with? Thx Chris

Have you checked your breakers and fuses ?
if you end up needing parts .Great Lake Skipper has some Bennington OEM parts .

Yes. The tach works just hours says error. Haven’t found any blown fuses or anything that’s odd. It only has about 150 hours for. What the service tech told me.

The service tech didn't have an answer or suggestion what to check ? The gage could be bad or it may be not getting a signal from the motor .

I typically just scan the engine at the end of the year to get my hours. What engine do you have?

Yamaha 150

My Rinda wouldn't be able to scan your engine but the Yamaha scanner can.
