I was also talked out of the power Bimini due to the plastic gears that are prone to failure. I have a 2019 with standard Bimini, and it is a super easy, one person job to raise and lower it.
The dealer swapped out the controller, and the lights work now. Hopefully they will continue to work. There is still a slight buzz in the speakers with the exterior lights and underwater lights on.
I have the VMax 175 on my 2019 RSB. It easily pulls a wakeboarder or a tube. It's actually a better hole shot than my I/O 225 hp Mercruiser on my previous Hurricane Deck boat. Super easy to pull a wakeboarder with a great hole shot. The fact that you don't have to get up on plane like a V-hull...

The ones that come on the boat are pretty cheap and break easily. You can go to Lowes Hardware store and buy black plastic T handle things that are made for lawnmower handles. They fit perfectly, match perfectly, and are much more sturdy than Bennington's version. You can get a pair of them for...
Yeh, that would be frustrating! From a VRBO and AirBnB renter's perspective, they need to know the rules to rent that property! That's on the homeowner to state very clearly that there are noise rules, docking rules, etc at that property and the first instance of rule-breaking gets you evicted...
