Oh that’s nice! Great looking job you did there. I ended up having a speaker box mounted in my helm and I added some anti vibration spacers under amp and mounted to that. It created some space under amp also so it can get some air between box and amp. Mine will work but yours looks much nicer!
That’s awesome! Thank you. That should be the view I need. Did u have to take off other side also to get wiring you fished across. I have to bring them from the side you have off over to the battery compartment in left rear of boat. Didn’t know if the cross member bars created any fishing...
Great info, thank you. I’ll take the side skirts and go that route. I have fish tape and the fiberglass rods to run wires so once I have a good view, I can roll on with project. I like to do it same way as you, secure wires and place them in corrugated protective covering. Gonna do it, do it...
Yeah I’ve read something about the side skirt and it being a pain to remove. I looked at that but couldn’t see all the bolts holding it on from start to finish. I heard some say that few of them were inaccessable but somehow everyone figured it out. That may be the way to go. I’ll take a look...
Yes please take pics. I was under the boat trying to remove one of the wave shield panels directly under helm area where I currently have an amplifier that has wires ran down a hole and goes across the top of toons across to the battery area under back lid of boat. I was also gonna remove a wave...
When you pulled the under skirt, was it just the rivets or was it also spot welded or glued. I tried taking a panel off my new 2021 Bennington and even with 5 rivets removed, it was still held up firmly. Thanks
I am wanting to install a second amplifier and some tower speakers on my 2021 Bennington. Problem I have Is the underpinning doesn’t allow me to get to the wiring that is already in place from the battery to the helm. I thought about removing some rivets and taking down a panel of the...
I have not tried that, not sure how to do it that way since it just reads as full and I’m not sure when it’s at each of those levels. Very frustrating. Thank you for the reply!
Yeah that what I did, calibrated at empty and full, and so far it just reads full of fuel as I burn gas each time out. So strange, as it did fluctuate some on reading before I calibrated it, sometimes read full and sometimes less. I’m thinking there’s a flaw somewhere either in sensor or simrad...
Mine was disconnected and just laying in all the tangled wires under console. Either didn’t connect it or it fell off. It’s so short I can barely get it to connect so I’m thinking the tension is making it fall down.
All the fuel info I could find says it has to be zeroed at empty and when full and I’ve done that but the fuel line meter still only reads as full no matter how much I use up fuel. If it read only partially correct I’d know I was getting close to needing to full up but now I’m always full. It’s...
So my new Bennington L23 has the simrad Go 7 installed and dealer forgot to zero the tanks on empty and then full. I have no accurate reading for my fuel so far. I ran all the gas out and zeroed the tank at empty and then full when I put in fuel but it only reads full on simrad and does not...
Thanks guys! I have contacted a Bennington dealer and they are sending pictures to Bennington to see if it qualifies under warranty conditions. They said Bennington is really good with their warranties so we’ll see what happens! Thanks for advice, I just figured it was normal wear and tear and...
