I am on the Eastern Shore on Trippe Creek. Last year, I had my new Bennington 21 wrapped and it worked great. They did put up their own 2X4s inside. We had snow and lots of rain. I cut everything off in March and have all was just fine. It certainly does save wear and tear on the cover.
And, then there is always the more natural form of aerial surveillance over a Bennington! This on on Trippe Creek, Oxford, MD.

I know a picture of a plane is a bit unusual....but, this Piper Cub near Oxford, MD spotted me taking pictures and dropped down for a look at the Bennington...he looked great, too!

We took the plunge last year and had a wonderful season on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Wonderful way to get around and see the area...pics - https://er30.smugmug.com/Bennington-Tritoon
