That sucks!! Keep the the faith though. Been there and done that too.  It can be amazing how things work out.

We have a 22sl with the 115 yamaha.  works very well for us.  We are on a lake that is 47000 acres so the larger hp comes in handy, but I would probably go with the 90 if you are not going to upgrade anything else.  Good luck and have fun!

Just curious, what are the performance levels with the reliance props under load? 4 or more adults, pullijng tubes etc. Just tested yamaha stainless pontoon performance prop, 14x13p and no load perf. was 34mph. at 6100rpm. loaded(7 adults) 19mph at 5100rpm.

I have a 22SL, yamaha 115, twin tube with strikes. Yamaha 13.5x 15p aluminum prop with 1 person on board = 35mph on the GPS. WOT was at 6200 rpm. However with that prop and 7 adults speed dropped to 19 mph at 5300 rpm WOT. Just tested new yamaha talon prop, 13.5x10p. 27Mph WOT at 6200 rpm and...

The pontoon will actually come up on plane,experience a smoother ride, and gained 4 to 5 mph. On my GPS.

Freddy, I had the strakes added after the fact on our 2014 22 SL, I paid for the strakes and Bennington paid to have them installed by a local shop chosen by my dealer. They are worth it.

Welcome aboard!  We have a 22SL with the 115 and in gear at idle speed there is a slight vibration that can be felt.  Now about the bow hiogh stance, ours does the same thing. I am pretty sure that is normal.  As to the sealegs question i will leave that someone who has had experience with...

I agree.  testing on your pontoon is about the best way to tell.
