Shawn,
I had the dealer install a Minn Kota 80 with iPilot. I wouldn't be without it. I can use the remote anywhere on the pontoon, have no foot pedal to dance around, and really enjoy all the features of the iPilot, especially the anchor function that keeps the boat very near to the place...
I'll add a couple of oops on my Bennington 2011 2275 FSI with 115 Yamaha. Front livewell leaked (reported previously) at the tank fill connection and Bennington was on top of methodstrying to help by sending multiple thickness gaskets and a replacement penetration fitting however the problem was...
I have the strap at the back as well but have better results by using the back two fishing chairs to provide the lift. The strap going over the bimini is too far forward to effectively lift up on the cover. It does more forward pulling then it does lift
We live in Forest and work in Lynchburg. We've been to Philpott about as much as SML this summer. SML can get really busy on weekends and is not very enjoyable fishing with grandkids on board. In the past 6 or 7 years we only went to Philpott with the boat (Ranger bass boat) and camper. Now with...
I happen to bump into the dock when approaching, and not very fast. Sad to say that was my first dent and expected to not have anything for as slow as I was going, but it dented from the contact. I expected a rub mark at most but now have a permanent tatoo on the corner trim.
My filter is up high and above the fuel tank, so when I change the filter, just unscrew it, replace the filter and screw it back on. No clamps or hose kinks necessar. No venting and no problem when starting up after filter removal. Another perfect for Bennington.
Ron,
I don't have a Bear trailer, its a Westco
I have the guides, love em.
Not sure what wind catcher sails are?
I have surge breaks, wouldn't be without them. It does mean an extra vehicle inspection in Virginia for trailers with brakes but well worth the extra stopping power.
This is my...
To hear the warning horn, pull the safety lanyard. When the key is turned to the start postion the horn will sound. The dealer covered this with me when I picked up my toon. Happy and safe boating.
I guess all dealers rig the trailer differently. When I picked mine up asked about a front safety chain and rear tie downs. The answer is you don't need one on the front (the trailer doesn't have a mounting place for a seperate tie down) and the rear trailer mounting eyes are about 2 feet ahead...
Just wanted to close up this issue of a leaking livewell. TB has done it again, fantastic customer service. A few email messages between us and a phone call from Bennington ended up providing replacement parts and options to stop the leak (oversized hole on the water supply line). I now have...
Carl,
Not sure the farmer wins in this scenario. Sure it helps keep the corn price up which also means meat prices have to be higher. The taxes for farm land plus the high cost of farm equipment only means cash in one pocket is taken out of the other hoping to at least break even. And than...
