I don’t know much about a Silverado prop but I would get a mercury enerta prop in 17 of 18 pitch and see where you are
Silverado may be fine I’ve never had any experience with one though.
I’m not sure the issue he has with it other than it can be expensive to repair and takes up room in a storage compartment
but I will add I wouldn’t buy a large outboard on a boat the size of a tritoon with out power steering. Even power assistance is not the same.
I have searched and searched and can not find how much lower to set my trailer in the center as compared to the outside 2 toons. 25q. With the center elliptical toon. I have seen it in a diagram but now I can’t find it.
Remediation what brand tires have you had good luck with?
I am having trouble finding 10 inch tires that are rated high enough for for my 25r
I have had 4 tires fail in 3 years trailering 60 mile round trip 20 times a year. 2 were barely over a year old. And they were only a few months old...
From what I have seen the saltwater package on a pontoon isn’t much different. Rinse it really good and have fun with it. Find a Bennington dealer on the coast and talk to them about the extra anodes
now your steel trailer will age exponentially. I would rinse it extra or have your...
I thought the same thing about laying it down but I leave it in the low position when trailering and ass soon as I get to the lake I just put both tops up and never think twice about it. April and early May I have taken it completely off and left it at home. But honestly that is more...
I’m a mercury guy but considering the size of the lake your on I would get the Yamaha and save some money. I don’t believe it will affect resale enough to matter. Most people don’t know or care about the differences as long as it runs good and isn’t a bear to turn.
do you have the v6 or V8 250 verado.
If it is the new V8 leave it alone that is about all it will do. If it is the v6 go down to a 15 get the Rpms up and see if it helps any.
