Post up your other toys or hobbies ..... AGAIN

That is a nice looking Z51 and a great color. I had a 2015 Z51 that you’d have a hard time telling the difference from my Z06. It was also all black and an 7M too. I was going to modify my Z51, but decided to go to the Z06 in2019 instead.

Post up your other toys or hobbies ..... AGAIN

My other hobby is my cars. These are my fun when I’m not on the St Lawrence on my Bennington- oh and the Sea doos. I’m a very happy little boy with my big boy toys

    Sea legs question

Thanks for the great response. So it sounds like a good fix for my problem. My next problem is that I’m in NY and the nearest dealer is 45 miles away and the next is 85. I have a good lift, so I figure I can sell that to get something towards Sea legs

    Sea legs question

I have a 2021 23L and love it! I’m on the St Lawrence river and have a permanent dock, with a lift next to it. This river gets wind and waves which can get pretty rough. The Bennington has no problem on the water and my lift does a great job of keeping it safe when things get rocking and...

Question about Pontoon Winterizing in the North East

Well I made it through my first summer with my 23LFB Tritoon -had tons of fun and learned a lot! The next learning curve is the fall to winter storage process. So, after pulling it out of the water, I took it to the dealer for winterizing the motor, because Yamaha requires it to keep the...

what to do with cover while shirink wrapped

This is good information! This is my first boat and I was thinking that you leave the cover on when it is shrink wrapped.

    Throttle Question

Good thought, I can check when I get to camp this weekend. I'm only on the first fill-up after the dealer free tank, so I'm thinking that the gas is good -the marina had 91 ethanol free gas.

    Throttle Question

No, we were headed home that day, but the remainder of the 20 minute trip it was completely normal. It never had any heat or low oil safe mode warnings, but did act like a safe mode. I don't have my owners manual here at home, but we are headed back up this Sunday and will do more research on...

    Throttle Question

I'm not thinking so, I'm on the St Lawrence ,it's about a mile wide where we are and no seaweed near my dock. Once out maybe 40' its over 20' deep and then quickly goes to 40' with 60' max in the middle. But, maybe there was some debris? The motor did not sound like it was struggling, it just...

    Throttle Question

I had a weird experience with the throttle on my 23LFB. We got it about a month ago with the F200 Yamaha four cylinder and I was amazed by the power and speed. But, this past weekend I had a strange thing happen with the throttle. I had 7 regular sized adults on board and the water was a little...

    Homemade Dock

We bought a camp on the St Lawrence in October 2020. The first thing that amazed me is that 90% of the docks, including mine, are permanent. They build these huge cribs with RR sized ties, fill them with rocks and then build the deck. Not sure of the exact date, but I believe that mine is at...

    Trailer with surge brakes

I picked mine up from the dealer with a trailer that has that system -first trip was from the dealer to camp, which is about 150miles. The system worked great and no complaints at all!

Finally have the boat and motor

We picked up out Bennington last week on the 17th and did the first haul from Owasco Marina to our house and then on to our place on the St Lawrence. The trip was great ... the run from the launch in Ogdensburg to our dock was a fun first run! We were running about 10-12 MPH into 2 1/2 -3' waves...

Finally Pick it up this Thursday!

Thanks! That's actually the St Lawrence River, about 7 miles west of Ogdensburg NY. This actual section is a mile wide, with Canada straight across, and is about 13miles long ...and 60' deep. Cool part is the whole river is about 743miles long ..."only" 114 miles long on the NYS boarder.
