We turned 780 hours on our 2014 gsr2250 this past summer. Yamaha 150 still purs like a kitten. Finally did the water impeller last spring with 650 hours on the clock....actually didn't look real bad. New plugs and under cowl fuel filter and fuel water filter under the seat all replaced.

We started with a standard 2 tube pontoon with only a 50 on it.....yeah we got caught in some pretty nasty storms that came in on us that first year. Then we started shopping for a new boat we noticed that a majority of the boats on our lake had 140+HP and were tri-toons. Our dealer basically...
We have both the ottoman/cooler that the wife uses in front of the co-captain seat to put her feet up and stores her sunscreen - hat - extra towel in......never used as a cooler. We bought the bow filler seat right after we got our boat. Truthfully unless you plan on having a full boat of...
Used awesome brand cleaner from the dollar store (like a buck for a spray bottle of the stuff) to clean the mold/mildew off our cover and bimini. Spray the cleaner on and work it in with a soft bristle brush (like used to wash your car) then spray with powerwasher......viola it's clean. Then...
We bought a shurhold 6' extendable handle/pole and a boat hook attachment for it. You can interchange several ends to use it for other things besides a docking pole. Only complaint the wife has using this setup is the round ball on the end of the hook doesn't grab dock posts like my old metal...

The flag was finally replaced last year due to edge fraying and fading....not bad for 6 summers of use. Actually the flag was a 12 x 18 nylon garden flag from walmart
Something like this one shown here --> Garden Flag
The flag we used has a sewn sleeve on one end that just slides...
From the looks of the new 2019 helm in the G models I'll be sticking with my 2014 model for quite a while. The only thing different from the 2018 helm pictured and my 2014 helm is the fact I don't have the raised helm option (something I sometimes wish we'd gotten). But the 2018 still has the...
Like the title says I am looking for an app for my phone or tablet that can not only be used as navigation out on the water for your boat but one that you can track other boats (other boats in your group). We are working on starting a boater association on our lake and this would be a handy app...
The winterization is done at our docks.....under a roof and on a lift. The dealer actually comes to us and does all the work right there on our lift. Price for the service is the same as if I dropped the boat off at their docks and just left it floating at one of their docks. You get charged...
Fuel prices here at home (an hour from the lake) is running anywhere from 2.29 to 2.49 for reg e-10 at the pump. Last weekend it was 2.39 at most stations around the lake and 3.69 on the fuel docks. Basically a little over a buck more at the fuel dock but to me it's worth it as I don't have to...
Our 2014 yamaha 150 has almost 400 hours on it.....398.6 to be exact. It hasn't missed a beat in all those hours. I wouldn't be worried about a 2011 with less than 300 hours on it.
That boat is the same as the low mileage car owned by the little old lady that only drive it to church on...
We have ivory interior and the only thing we've had problems with is the ingredient in sunscreen that turns you orange. The co-captian and the captain seat are getting a little off color up by the headrests other than that it cleans up easy. Granted we use a liberal amount of 303 cleaner and...
We have almost 40K in ours when we bought new and still don't have a trailer. Sounds like a good deal to me......I'd jump at that boat since it even comes with a trailer for that price. Our 150 yami has almost 400 hours on it now and hasn't missed a beat. You simply have to love the...
