Do you prefer a deep cycle or starting type of battery?

The eight year old batteries in my 2015 R25 are in need of replacement and I was looking for recommendations for best brands, models, and type of battery. I have a two battery system with a selector switch.

Here in the police State of NJ carrying on your boat translates to about 10 years in jail.  I would guess that other than a LEO no one is packing a handgun when on the water.

You might be right but how much current could the memory draw?  We have two batteries so even if it killed one over an extended period we could still get up and running with the other. I went out and checked, if you turn from one battery to BOTH and then the other the memory stays. 

There's a 5 amp breaker that feeds the master switch (which feeds the 30 amp relay) on the console.  I'll tap the +12 VDC constant after the breaker and before the switch. I'm still baffled why someone would design it this way when the memory clearly needs constant power.  I'm guessing that...

When I shut the master power switch on the console it shuts off power to the radio (Sony DSXS310BTX) causing it to lose all of the preset memory.  I've looked at the boat wiring schematic and it's clearly wired this way from the factory.  I'm thinking of rewiring it to keep this from happening...

My marina pulls the batteries when they shrink wrap the boat in October and then trickle charge them over the winter.  When I picked the boat up last week I asked for the batteries and the guy at the marina said here's your battery.  I asked where the other one was and he said that they only...

Sounds good.  I ordered 2 gallons of 303.  Does this need to be done every season or will it last more than one?

How much would you need to do a 25' mooring cover?

After 2.5 seasons my mooring cover is leaking like a sieve when it rains.  From the inside I can actually see through the tiny pores of the cover during the daylight.  Can this be sealed?

Does anyone have a link to a place that sells the little labels that go on/in the console switches that indicate what it is that they control?

For future reference was this a phishing type posting?

I don't think that it does it just states that it's an SPST, single pole double throw, one N/C position and one N/O position both of which reverse when the switch is depressed.  The key switch wiring is easily accessible from under the console.

It should be perfect given it's design and mounting bracket.  I did spend over an hour searching the Internet to find something that met all of my needs.
