Just got my boat back. New prop, no additional damage!! I truly appreciate all the input I have received and wanted to just update everyone that we back on the water!

I honestly have no idea.

I have a Yamaha, don’t think it had that Flo torque.

I’m gonna have my damaged one sent off and repaired that way I can have a spare. My only worry now is there more damage. I am gonna have the mechanic check it out when he puts my new prop on. Boat seemed to operate fine after we hit the rock so hopefully nothing else is damaged.

I appreciate the input, although I must say it’s making me nervous . Hopefully when the mechanic puts the new prop on he don’t see anything else.

I was worried about that also. I asked the boat mechanic to check everything out when he puts my new prop on for me. We boated around a little bit after the strike and everything seemed to operate normally. Thanks for any advice!

sounded horrible! I thought the whole motor was gonna fall off but this is all the damage that came from it. Got lucky I guess!

I’m planning on sending it off once I get the new one put on. My thinks is that will be a good spare. A repair would take a couple weeks, hopefully the new one will be on and ready come next week.

Hit my first rock! Already ordered a new prop but generally speaking how bad does this look? I have docked the boat until I get the replacement because I’m afraid of a damaged prop doing more damage. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Ya. These are made in Texas. The owner of the company offers his personal phone number to help with anything you need. They are actually very durable and was pretty easy to put on!

I’m hoping mine are. I want to put neon lights around my boat but am not very good with wiring. I’m thinking it will be much easier if mine are already wired up. Thanks for the response!!

I am starting my 3rd year so I too am still new. What I have learned is the spray sunscreen WILL stain your boat. I had to scrub for hours to get that stuff off my interior. Also. Like the simple sand anchor. I use 2 of them keeps my 22 ft boat nice and still in the river!
