I am also a big fan of evening outings: I found these 12v USB LED lights that plug direct into any charging spot on my Benny, clip them down the center of the Bimini for evening meals, and store in a plastic ammo box - 5 minutes to setup and take down!

Yes, prior to lowering the Transducer 15-20 was my max. Now I can hit 30+, 45 in the attached picture! I found a more recent picture of my Benny, seems I lowered it further than the prior picture - mounting the plate as low as possible with the transducer well below the mount plate.

I solved my similar transducer problem my moving the unit to the bottom of the mount (original is my Benny, lowered is another Benny). When you can, please post pictures on that new ladder setup!!!
