    Slip cost.....

Obviously the slip wasn’t “really “ at The Point. A dock like that would get some kicked out.

    Slip cost.....

When I moved to the Lake Norman area 38 years ago, nice lots were $30k and big water main channel lots were $80k. They were expensive then too, at least for someone just starting out. Strange thing is just before Covid you could get a nice lot for $3-400k. Now they have shot up to over half a...

    Slip cost.....

The people with ocean going vessels on Lake Norman have driven up the slip prices. That is why Stutts has the wide slips. My boat was lost in the slip I leased from them.

    Slip cost.....

It’s expensive on the peninsula. When we moved off the lake, we put our boat at the one not to far from you. They wanted $4000/year for a 14’ wide covered without a lift. I stayed 6 months until something else opened up. But all the on water slips on the north end are expensive. I think they are...

    Boone

Wow! Didn’t know Huskies lived that long. Boone was only 6. We had decided that both of the puppies will have their stomachs tacked when they are neutered. Don’t want to see a dog go through that again.

    Boone

I wanted to give you an update. I got locked out of my account and finally found my password. Anyway, we still have a hole in our heart for Boone, we as a family found that hole created more room to help others. After Boone’s death, my oldest daughter (not Boone’s owner) was looking for husky...

New Problems - Near Electrical Fire

No ice forming here. Only ice I have seen today was in my Pepsi at lunch. Mid 70s last week but 45/25 on Wednesday but back in the upper 50s after that. Glad it is getting closer to being repaired.

    Boone

Thanks everyone. Of all the dogs I have had, this is the first one that bothered me when we lost him. Maybe because he became my daughters best friend, he loved being in my backyard and wanted to be everyone’s pal. We went and picked him up last night. Brought a lot of comfort to her having him...

    Boone

Abby would have had him 5 years next Saturday. She was told he was 11 months when she got him but based on the past couple of years I think he was older. I think he was about 7-8.

2022 boat shows are beginning to take a hit... be sure to verify yours is still happening

The Charlotte auto show was a couple weeks ago. Normally the cars are packed in and the main floor is full. This year there was plenty of spacing between cars and even curtains to block part of the floor. I don’t expect the Mid-Atlantic show to have boats side by side.

Even though I only personally know 3-4 of you, there is a bond that grows from being connected. Many of you that have been around a while know that the reason I switched from a bow rider to a Bennington is because of a dog. Five years ago my daughter adopted a white husky she named Boone after...

    Happy Father's Day guys!!!

I checked them out. The reason I had never heard of either is they haven’t recently had a major car wreck to get them in the news.
