Well, the pontoon is stored on a powered lift, so docking is a non issue. I am going to look into other manufactures and what kinds of brackets they use. I am sure I will find something. If not a rubber mallet is the option

I was under the impression the live well was on a 5 amp breaker?? I have to assume the rockford setup draws more than 5 amps with any volume? You have had no issues with this?
No, its the same. Philips heads on top with lock nuts and washers on the bottom side. I tightend up the nuts while a friend kept the philips from turning. I agree a ring or a plate on the bottom side would help significantly. It just needs reinforcing in my opinion.
So my captains chair begain creaking at the base. Tightened up all the bolts securing it to the floor, most were barely over hand tight. This made it a bit better, but still the creak every now and then. Its definately coming from where the base is mounted to the floor. Whats peoples...
what radio model is in there now? I have a Sony thats Sirius/xm ready that probably uses the same wire harness, so a swap would be pretty easy, no messing with wires. all that would be needed is the XM tuner which is $25 on ebay.
