    Boat Lift Decision

I have a Floe Tritoon lift that came with solar power. Works great. I would NOT run power down to my docks.

My experience with my new 2025 24LXSSB

I never tried that boat with the 250. It was flashed to a 300 before I put it in the water. I got 53 and new owner says he got 53 also.

    Simrad NSX

As said by others, your digital throttle should be VERY smooth, no clunking at all. Don't let the dealer tell you differently. I had engine work done on my last mercury verado by the dealer and boat came back with shifting not working properly. They have to hook their computer up to it and...

My experience with my new 2025 24LXSSB

I ran some numbers on performance from my last ride. I had 2 adults in boat, a couple coolers, 70% fuel and all other normal items on boat. I got 47 mph at 5730 rpm. I trimmed up even more and got 5800 rpm but no speed change. The slip calculator says I am at 11 for prop slip. This is with...

GARMIN 9" MULTI-FUNCTION DISPLAY TOUCH SCREEN WILL NOT TURN ON....2025

I'm sure you already know this, on your left lower vessel screen, go to controls and make sure the ACC button is on. This must be on for your Garmin to turn on.

My experience with my new 2025 24LXSSB

I went with the 17 pitch. I'm not sure what diameter the Enertia is, 14.5? I have my engine up 1 hole from the bottom, my last boat (Mercury Verado) I had up 2 holes.

    Throttle position in reverse

My manual for my Yamaha has a diagram showing that for the first 30 or 35 degrees throttle position from Neutral forward or reverse nothing is supposed to happen.

My experience with my new 2025 24LXSSB

Yes. Another goal of mine is not having to back off the throttle because I'm over revving. I don't want to have to think about that when I hammer down. My last boat with a Verado I had it propped right near top rpm range but never had to worry about going over it.

My experience with my new 2025 24LXSSB

Update: Today I installed the Enertia prop. I got 5800 rpm and 48mph with myself, full tank of fuel and extras on board. I then had 3 grown men over 200lbs and all the extras with almost full tank of gas, got 46mph bounced of 47mph at 5790 rpm. It was windy and not flat water. I think I am...

    Where did my speed go?

Change fuel water separators just to be sure. My Yamaha 250 SHO is supposed to run 6000rpm max but I hit 6200 without it limiting me. My Verado had a limiter, doesn't seem like the Yamaha does.

Blue Sky cover - has anyone tried one?

My new cover will not tighten properly without the poles. Without the poles some of my clips are too loose to even stay in place.

My experience with my new 2025 24LXSSB

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to give information on my new Bennington. My old one was a 2015 2375 RCW ESP with Verado 250. My new one is a 24 LXSSB with a Yamaha SHO 250 SPS +. First I will say I really like this new boat, I love the lay out, so much storage also. The biggest difference is the...

Opinion on Prop for my 2025 24LXXSB

Does the Yamaha SDS on it SWS2 props make a big difference compared to running a Mercury Enertia?

Help with adding Sirius XM to new 2025 LXSSB

Appreciate it. I've installed it per the directions but under "source" on my Vivid screen for audio nothing shows for Sirius XM. According to Rockford Fosgate tech it should show up. I read another post somewhere (Maybe Facebook) that other people had this problem. Just trying to see if...

    Swingback and battery switch location

I have a 20225 LXSSB with same set up. I just turn the power off on the helm and don't worry about it. I did this on my last Bennington for 10 years and never a problem. Are you just assuming your batteries have a load on them and will discharge? No way am I going to pull that cushion every...
