    2021 Ridgeline

Thanks for the input. I would guess that since the Ridgeline has a longer wheelbase it should tow even better. We had two pilots in the past - no problems with either one.

Yes, trailer has brakes. I appreciate your real world experience.

Yep, we have a Suburban now and the deal on the RL has me getting a new vehicle and money back in the process. Aside from the fact of not having the Suburban as the daily driver and the extra fuel cost, etc. The RL does come with the tow package, 7 pin wiring, class 3 hitch, transmission...

I agree and if I was towing with significant frequency I don’t think I’d change vehicles. THE RL is a better fit for the the time we are not towing.

Yes, the trailer has brakes. It just seems hard to justify keeping the Suburban for so little towing. The RL is a better fit for the 99 percent of the time we are not towing.

    2021 Ridgeline

Hi all, Considering a deal (maybe as soon as today) on a Honda Ridgeline RTL-E. The tow capacity is 5k, Im estimating about 4500 total for my 2019 21SF, SPS, Yamaha 150, fuel, trailer, etc. I’m close to the limit, however, I only tow to the lake in spring and home in the fall as we have a...

Newbie in need of parking help into boat slip

Practice...I had our 24SLi down. We got a 21 SPS this year and it's like I never docked before. Not sure what the problem is but it ain't gone perfect yet. I go straight in, it blows around, I yell, we get docked. People laugh, it all works out...

    Seasonal Docking Question

Being on the end you will also not have anyone attempting to dock beside you. There could be some advantages to an end dock.

Looking for advice...looking at 22 SSRX!

We had a 24SLi with a 115hp motor, with just the standard pontoons. Boat would run 28mph when pontoons were totally clean and with a light load. Full load with dirty (normal) pontoons and the boat would be around 20mph. You could tube and do everything you wanted, but it was not ideal for water...

    Ropes, bungees and/or clips?

I used pre-spliced dock line and attach to the cleat on the boat then figure eight the remaining line to the cleat on the dock. I don't use a spring line but it's not a bad idea. I also use a latch connected to the hole on top of the front of the pontoons and attach those to cleats on the dock...

    Accon Fender Clips

Our new Bennington came with the Taylor Made hangers. I wasn't sure how they would work as we keep the boat in a slip. It's only been a couple weeks but they seem ok and have not moved, came loose, etc. I'll probably pick up a few spares but so far they seem fine.

    21SF - Performance

Diameter 14.5, trim about 3/4, might be more trim adjustment available but since I was right at 6000rpm I didn't trim up any higher.
