    Smarte Jack lift wheels

Thank you very much for the tips! Two for one is a great deal! Even when it's free! Ya, I hope these wheels last a while.

    Smarte Jack lift wheels

Thanks! I bought a set this spring. I put them in the middle. I should have maybe bought 2 sets and put them on the front/back. They seemed to work well. I paid to have my stuff put in as I tore a massive hole in my waders and COVID-19 prevented me from going out and finding a nice new...

Oct 2023 Update: Added LED Bar Light for Docking

Somewhat unrelated, but I added a light bar to my Polaris Ranger over the winter and the light is phenomenal. I love the idea of having a light bar on my boat! Great idea. I may have to follow suit.

    Boat Lift recommendations please

I know I've seen this information in these forums, but I'm having trouble finding how far to space my bunks apart for a trailer and/or lift for a Bennington 23 GSB with the SPS package. Is 77" correct for the center of the outer tubes? It's nearing ice out in MN and I need to setup my new...

    Boat Lift recommendations please

Hello again! On the topic of boat lifts... specifically portable boat lifts in this case... I'm about to purchase a Pier Pleasure 6000# lift with a Lift Tech direct drive 12/24v motor. On my former lift I had an electric motor (the type that just turns the wheel for you) and I ran it off the...

What Type of Winter Storage Cover Should I Use?

I covered my old pontoon with a Navigloo from Costco for 7 winters. It worked pretty great. I handed that down to a buddy this fall and rented indoor storage. Then I accidentally bought my 2018 Bennington late this fall. Now im paying for 2 boats in winter storage. D'oh!

We're all too cheap too! Prices in our area are about $100/device each way. That's $600/year just for my 2 lifts and a dock. It might be worth it. Every year I tell myself "This year it'll be easier! I have a couple of years of experience now!" ... every year it's just horrible. Ha!

    Boat Lift recommendations please

I like that idea of sitting under the cover in the rain! That's the first time I've actually thought "maybe I do need a canopy?". ...but naw. My wife loves hanging out in the pontoon at the dock and laying in the sun. There's room for her to lay on the dock, but we don't have soft chaise...

    Smarte Jack lift wheels

I have a similar situation needing to float the lifts around because I have a pretty challenging shoreline at my property. We currently use inner tubes, but I'm trying to think of a better way to do that aspect. My current process getting it into the lake is generally... 1. Get the lift...

    YOUR pontoon ideas!

That's a very good question, SemperFi. I purchased this pontoon with 69 hours on it a couple of months ago and the clips were broken before I acquired it. I think I may have already watched your video on youtube as I suffer through the long, cold MN winter and dream about using my new boat!

    YOUR pontoon ideas!

Honestly, I've had an old boat for so long that warranty hadn't even occurred to me! Thanks for mentioning that. I still think those clips need to be improved. :) And I still think someone needs to sell them at a reasonable price.

    Smarte Jack lift wheels

Does anyone have any experience with Smarte Jack lift wheels? https://www.amazon.com/QUALITY-MARK-Quality-Mark/dp/B07RTMZQPZ My concern is that I need to fully-extend the wheels to get the lift high enough to roll around. Are the screws robust enough to handle that? The last thing I want/need...

    YOUR pontoon ideas!

Barletta's ultra-lounge on their "L" line is the nicest and most versatile "sun deck" option on the market in my opinion. The fold-flat option is 2nd to none for sun worshipers. The SB on the Bennington SB models is good and I like the width. I'm 6'3" and I can lay flat width-wise. If it...

    Boat Lift recommendations please

I'm so glad this whole thread was here even though I don't think I'm going with any of your recommendations. It was a good and insightful read. I'm currently working with a dealer to buy a used 6000# Pier Pleasure lift with a Lift Tech 12/24v Direct Drive motor for around $6000 before trade...
