Blue Sky cover - has anyone tried one?

I basically don't want to use straps on the cleats. He prompted me to get an XL. As long as it's tight and doesn't flop in the wind, I'm fairly excited about it. Tired of fighting with the poles and the heavy big cover for most mooring in sunny weather....

Blue Sky cover - has anyone tried one?

I have a stainless U hook perfectly mid-way between the front and back cleats on the rub rail. Hoping to put a permanent strap on that hook to catch it mid point and that is all I'll need. Really don't want to start messing with extra "hang on's" etc. Defeats the simplicity that I'm hoping to...

Blue Sky cover - has anyone tried one?

Well I bit the bullet and ordered an extra large today. They must be a hot ticket because they said if you didn't order by today you probably won't receive one until late June at earliest. By ordering today it will arrive late May earliest. Hopefully it's as easy as everyone says it is and stays...

Opinions from those using 303 Aerospace Protectant on Simtex

2015 2575 QCW.... It had top of the line seating at that time, quilted bolsters etc. I can't really be sure it Simtex. But mostly 303 products have served me well over the years.....

    Thread size of Cleat stud

Well, I do know about Loctite, but if something gets damaged or broken, you could play heck getting them off with it. Self-locking nuts "can" be removed if they need be..... I may just have to take it off and head for the hardware store....

    Thread size of Cleat stud

Does anyone know the actual thread size of the studs on the stainless mooring cleats on the boat corners circa 2015 era? I would like to put some Elastic stop nuts on these as mine seem to work loose every year due to tying up etc.. Thanks!

Help Where can I find replacement siding

Yep I had a side panel ruined on my 2015 about 6 years ago when a guy from a jet ski gunned it and the jet wash crumpled the side of my aluminum. I like live three miles from the Bennington factory, and I took it to their factory repair station. They ended up putting a whole new section on my...

Opinions from those using 303 Aerospace Protectant on Simtex

I've used 303 both cleaner and protectant since 2015 and my seats are probably as good or better than any 10-year-old boat I know. But I try to keep them out of the sun as much as possible when not out on the water. I intent to keep using it....

    Clips

I just stick with the tight plastic C shaped over the rail clips. If something yanks on a fender really hard, I might break a few a year if a boat is really rocking hard beside mine and catches a fender wrong.... but I'd rather break plastic clips than yank really hard on the whole frame. I...

    Winterizing question

Not to beleaguer this point but 2 seasons ago at end of season, changed oil and filter and lower end. Used it 30 hours last summer. Oil looks perfect and full, same with lower end. Any real reason to mess with it this year anticipating another 30 hrs? Only has about 230 hrs total in 10 years...

Blue Sky cover - has anyone tried one?

I've got a 25 foot QX. and I'm probably going to go extra-large. I don't want to have to extend straps on all four corners, etc. just to get it to latch properly. I would really like to just have it covered with mostly material to keep the sun off of it. Any and all who buy one of these and has...

    PWC lift or floating dock

If your water depth is conducive, a lift is always better.. A floating anything unless it's chained down tight can bust loose and take off across the lake or down the river with your stuff in tow if it's rough enough out there.. That will never happen with a lift. Living on a river, we've seen...

    Mission Titan Dock Bumper

You may not be understanding my situation. I want to use it on a fixed seawall. that my boat docks up against in lieu of fenders. I don't mean using it as a bumper between boats when we are tying up with other boats.

    Mission Titan Dock Bumper

No, it's pretty doggone steady most all summer. We are on a river that has a dam and it controls the level. As far as being punctured or stolen ours would be in a pretty secure area. The only negative I can see against this thing is that we sometimes have big wake boats go by throwing out wake...

    Mission Titan Dock Bumper

Anyone ever use one of these yet? They look intriguing to me as we have to use regular fenders to bump the dock where we are at. We are just concerned about durability and whether these things would flip up or not if big waves came by and maybe let the boat get underneath it. But it would solve...
