I had my 2015 Q series into the factory for some warranty repair about four to five years ago, part of it was fixing a new black fence along the side that required new splash graphics. They searched the factory over and found the very last set of these graphics they had in stock. We were...
We had a 5000 pound 10 foot wide lift, it had side rails and the three cradles for the toons. It worked well for us because we could bump our way in if needed in tough wind and as soon as the cradles found the tunes we were locked. Just another opinion....
I've wrote about / had this problem before too. I've got a 200 horsepower F200 Yamaha on my 25 foot Q series with a Tower. It does better than your boat does but still you have to baby the throttle all the way up to wide open or it will just cavitate for sure. I can get mine up into the low 30s...
I paid 87k for my Special edition Q series in 2015 and I thought THAT was nuts! 200 Yamaha painted to match boat. Almost sold it to the person that bought my lake house, but when I looked at any close replacement it was well north of 150K ..... and .....well ...... uh..... THAT just ain't...
I have one midship loop down by the rub rail that I can attach the center to with the straps. Overall, I'm moderately impressed with this thing, not over the moon impressed. XL was the right size for me although it is super stretchy..... but with the configuration of my solid tower and a few...
You are lucky, on the river we are on they are entertaining wanting to remove our dam altogether. They said it could be five to 10 years down the road, but the current power company that owns the dam says it's not financially feasible to maintain it any longer and they want to tear it out. The...
I had Tumacs make me a replacement cover last year for my 10-year-old QX25. They did an admirable job, but it still was not the equivalent of the original cover. Plus you have to put your own snaps on. That's good and it's bad, but you better be good at it.... if you're only off 1/2 inch you'll...
Just got mine yesterday. Too soon to say overall but based on what I see....600.00 bucks seems pretty expensive for this thing...
Came straight from China.... I'll report back after having for a week or so in use.....
This right here is the problem. As a 2015 owner of a pristine QC series, I'm worried about things that could fail in another two to 5 years. We plan on keeping this boat and it would be pretty sad that specialized parts that are only made for it just frankly won't be available. Not interested in...
I basically don't want to use straps on the cleats. He prompted me to get an XL. As long as it's tight and doesn't flop in the wind, I'm fairly excited about it. Tired of fighting with the poles and the heavy big cover for most mooring in sunny weather....
I have a stainless U hook perfectly mid-way between the front and back cleats on the rub rail. Hoping to put a permanent strap on that hook to catch it mid point and that is all I'll need. Really don't want to start messing with extra "hang on's" etc. Defeats the simplicity that I'm hoping to...
Well I bit the bullet and ordered an extra large today. They must be a hot ticket because they said if you didn't order by today you probably won't receive one until late June at earliest. By ordering today it will arrive late May earliest. Hopefully it's as easy as everyone says it is and stays...
2015 2575 QCW.... It had top of the line seating at that time, quilted bolsters etc. I can't really be sure it Simtex. But mostly 303 products have served me well over the years.....
Well, I do know about Loctite, but if something gets damaged or broken, you could play heck getting them off with it. Self-locking nuts "can" be removed if they need be..... I may just have to take it off and head for the hardware store....
Does anyone know the actual thread size of the studs on the stainless mooring cleats on the boat corners circa 2015 era? I would like to put some Elastic stop nuts on these as mine seem to work loose every year due to tying up etc.. Thanks!
